Janice Whiting currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Chapel Park Elementary in Waco. She is recognized for her organizational prowess, task-oriented approach and collaborative leadership style. She plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of academic achievement and personal growth within the school community and brings over two decades of experience and a passion for educational excellence to her role in the field. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a Masters of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University, Janice laid the foundation for a career dedicated to nurturing young minds. Her journey in education has been diverse, encompassing teaching positions in Waco, and a significant role as a Reading Instructional Specialist at Woodway Elementary.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Janice finds fulfillment in her role as a wife to Luke Whiting, a mother to their three children: Elijah, Judah and Isabella, and in serving at her local church home, Antioch Community Church, where she serves as a sectional leader, a lifegroup leader and is an avid participant in various ministries.
