Current Needs and Wish List

In-kind donations from the community help provide basic needs, and household items to assist survivors and their families. We could not do the work we do without your ongoing support, so from all of us at Family Abuse Center, we thank you!
Please call or email our Director of Development with any questions about what we are currently taking before dropping off in-kind donations. We have limited space for items.

The Holiday Helpers program for 2022 is now underway! Family Abuse Center is very grateful for the support we've had to put on Christmas for our clients each year. The holidays are a difficult time for many individuals and families living in our shelter. We strive to give every single person some holiday cheer and a reminder of the kindness in others.

Gifts of new, unwrapped items for parents and children are greatly appreciated. Your generosity helps us provide a Merry Christmas for all Family Abuse Center clients, including those arriving on Christmas Eve, families, and individuals in our shelter who wake up Christmas morning to a bag of gifts and a delicious holiday meal. Christmas Day is very family-focused and is celebrated with movie marathons, joyful music, and delicious treats.

Family Abuse Center would like to receive the gifts for families by December 16th. This helps our staff and volunteers have plenty of time to sort, organize and wrap the presents in the weeks leading up to the holiday so that no one goes without an appropriate present for Christmas. Year after year, we struggle to provide adequate gifts for children ages 13 and up and adults. Because of this, we ask you to keep all ages in mind when shopping this holiday season.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you so much for your efforts to give uncertain families a holiday season filled with hope and peace.
