Services We Provide

Our experienced professional staff are committed to providing services for those in Waco and our surrounding counties who are victims of domestic violence.

Outreach Services

In addition to McLennan County, Family Abuse Center serves Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, and Limestone Counties. In an effort to better serve these 5 counties, Family Abuse Center intentionally engages these communities through outreach and educational efforts.

For Family Abuse Center, outreach includes both direct client services and community engagement. If a resident of Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, or Limestone Counties is a survivor of domestic violence but does not want to temporarily relocate to our shelter in Waco, our rural advocates will provide services of case management, legal advocacy, and counseling at a neutral location within the client’s home county.

Our rural advocates are frequently in the seven counties building community relationships, advertising the services FAC provides free of charge to domestic violence survivors, and educating groups about domestic violence and its impact on our local communities.
