Crystal Richards, 28
June 8, 2020 | Waco
Crystal Richards died at her home when her boyfriend, Gertraveon Demar Wilson, 28, shot and killed her. Crystal was celebrating her 28th birthday with over 100 people when Wilson shot her. Witnesses called 911 and reported the shooting. When law enforcement responded they discovered Crystal deceased. Authorities arrested and charged Wilson, and a grand jury indicted him for murder. Wilson is out on bond pending trial.

SaKyra Antwanette Young, 21
August 14, 2020 | Waco
SaKyra Young died at a hospital after her boyfriend, Michael Howard, 20, shot her while she was driving, causing her to crash into a fence. After the crash, he shot her again and fled. law enforcement officers responded to a report of shots fired and found Sakyra in the street outside her vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported SaKyra to the hospital. Authorities located Howard in a traffic stop, hiding under a blanket in a vehicle, and arrested and charged him with murder.
