The sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, has nationally chosen domestic violence as their cause. Here in Waco, they are incredibly supportive of Family Abuse Center. Tonight (November 11, 2013) is their major fundraiser called “Break the Silence.” It is a singing competition and all the funds raised will help support Family Abuse Center. They hope to raise more than $10,000!
That is not all they do for us. Weekly they donate meals for the clients. They provide special seasonal parties for the children living in the shelter and provide many volunteer hours working with our kids. They do several diaper drives for us. They are the best!
