Shelter
Family Abuse Center (FAC) provides 24 hour shelter for victims of domestic violence. Our shelter is a 60 bed facility, offering 3 meals per day, private rooms for families, and a single women’s room. In addition, we provide individual counseling, group therapy, life skills and financial planning classes, as well as legal advocacy. Typically, 60 - 70% of our shelter population includes children. Services for children include: therapeutic children’s group, individual counseling, educational field trips, and Start First violence prevention classes.

Family Abuse Center has trained hotline advocates who help provide support and referrals on our 24-hour hotline

Take steps to keep yourself safe when calling for help, and ask our advocates about safety planning if you are considering leaving an abusive relationship.
