Education and the Community :
FamilyAbuseCenter provides community education for first responders (such as local police departments, medical professionals, pastors and community leaders) as well as the District Attorney’s office, CPS, APS, and other agencies that have contact with victims of domestic violence. FamilyAbuseCenter hosts a Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) meeting each month to foster build relationships and strengthen communication and ensure that the needs of the victims of domestic violence are being met.
