SPRING CLEANING?

The Family Abuse Center needs your help to keep our Second Chance Thrift Store stocked for our residents and the community. Donating to the thrift store is a wonderful way to show your support in our fight against Domestic Violence.

Second Chance serves two purposes for the Family Abuse Center. The first is generating funds from what the community buys. This helps us maintain our shelter and keep it running smoothly. The second purpose is to establish some normalacy in the lives of the victims we serve. When a victim flees their abuser they usually come with nothing but the clothes on their back. We give our residents a voucher to shop at the thrift store so they have the ability to pick out clothes that suit their individual tastes and needs.

Below is a link to a flyer you can hang up at your workplace, neighborhood, school, and/or pass out to friends and family. We accept clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, small furniture, etc. We recieve all our donations at the Thrift Store which is located at 1412 Sunset Blvd. which is on the corner of Sunset Bluvd. and Bosque.
