What Are Kits?
Family Abuse Center Kits are gifts that have been donated or assembled by you, our volunteers, and caring individuals and are then given to our residents when they have need.
The FAC has four different types of kits: Baby Kits, Hygiene Kits, New Beginnings Kit, and a School Kit. Each one of these is a tremendous blessing to our clients and eases the transition from abusive home to a place of safety by giving them one less thing to worry about.
If for any reason you are unable to complete a kit on your own, feel free to buy a kit that we can assemble and give away on your behalf on the "Donate" section of our website (which can be found on the Quick Links to the left of the screen or under "How Can I Help?").
In addition to being able to buy a kit, there is also the option of purchasing a crib or infant car seat that will be given to women with infants to use during their stay here. Making and delivering kits to us is only one way to donate to us. If you are unable to make your own kit – because of time restraints, you’re too far away from Waco, or any other reason – you have the ability to purchase a kit that will be assembled by our wonderful volunteers and given to a resident at the appropriate time.

Just write the name of the kit(s) in the "memo" area of your check along with the number of each kit you are purchasing (if you are purchasing multiple kits). You may use the abbreviations listed beside the name of the kit below if you are in need of more room.
Kit Prices
- Baby Kit (BK): $130
- Hygiene Kit (HK): $45
- New Beginnings Kit (NBK): $171
- School Kit (SK): $50
- Infant Car Seat: $50
- Crib: $100
You can also donate online by using your credit card. Just go to the home page and click on “donate online” to get to the correct page. If you chose to donate online just write how many of each kit you are purchasing in the "description" section. Then add up your total and put it in the area marked "unit price." This is a fast and easy way to donate a kit to one of our residents.
Individual Items
Another way to contribute toward our kits is by donating individual items that are in individual kits. For example, if you cannot afford to buy/donate the entire New Beginnings Kit you can instead choose to only buy/donate a set of new dishes. It is a simple fun way to give.
